Therese Aune (NO) operates in an evocative sound universe, where soaring synthesizers meet a sonorous powerful voice. The result is minimalistic and experimental pop. In the the past few years, Aune has been involved in making music for films, sound books and art installations, besides playing concerts both in and outside of Norway. Amongst the highlights are festivals like By:larm (NO), Iceland Airwaves (ICE), Berlin Festival (GER), Días Nórdicos (ESP), Les Boreales (FR), SXSW and CMJ (US).

Her latest release, the EP Cocoon, was recorded on a small island on the west coast of Norway, Giske, in Ocean Sound Recordings. Marcus Forsgren (Lionheart Brothers, Bror Forsgren, Jaga Jazzist) joined her as a technician and producer. It was released through Riot Factory in 2015.

Aune is currently working on making another record.
